During the summer holidays, the number of devotees in Tirupati increases and all the rooms in the Vaikundam Q complex are filled to overflowing.
A large number of devotees from all over the country visit the world famous temple of Tirupati for darshan. During the holidays, the number of devotees increases. Devotees who do special darshan at a fee of 300 rupees, have darshan at a specific time.
Those who are not able to book online can get a token in time slot mode and come directly to the Sarva Darshan queue to get tickets and perform darshan. But this also takes 6 hours to 12 hours. One has to wait for getting the ticket and after getting the ticket for darshan.
Those who come directly for free darshan without booking online and without getting time slot token have to wait for one day or two days depending on the situation of the day and do darshan.
Thus, the number of devotees is increasing during the summer holidays of this year. All the rooms in Vaikundam Q Complex are full. On some days, devotees who came for direct free darshan have to wait up to two days to have darshan of Sami.
Now that the summer holidays are over, the number of devotees visiting Tirupati Tirumala has increased significantly. The rooms at Vaikundam Q Complex are full and it is about 3 km to Sila Thoranam. Devotees wait in long queues. Devotees who come for free darshan wait for about 30 hours and have darshan. The Devasthanam administration is providing basic facilities to the waiting devotees.
