Parliament Monsoon Session: INDIA Bloc’s ‘Vote Chori’ March to ECI Today

Days after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged large-scale “vote theft” in the recent elections, over 300 MPs from 25 Opposition parties are set to march from Parliament to the Election Commission of India (ECI) headquarters in New Delhi today.

The march will begin at 11:30 a.m. from Makar Dwar in Parliament, proceed via Transport Bhawan, and culminate at Nirvachan Sadan.

Delhi Police has reportedly granted no permission for the protest, and no formal request for clearance was submitted by the leaders.

Although organised under the initiative of the INDIA bloc, the march will take place without official alliance banners—a move aimed at enabling the participation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which withdrew from the coalition last month but retains 12 MPs in the Lok Sabha.
