Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate various projects worth more than 29,400 crore rupees tomorrow, dedicating them to the country and laying the foundation stones.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai, Maharashtra tomorrow. Around 5:30 PM, the Prime Minister will visit Nesco Exhibition Center in Goregaon, Mumbai. There he will lay the foundation stone for several projects related to the road, railway and ports sector worth over Rs 29,400 crore.
Thereafter, at 7 pm, the Prime Minister will visit the Indian Information Service (INS) Secretariat in G-Block, Bandra Kurla Campus, Mumbai and inaugurate the INS Towers.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the Rs 16,600 crore Thane Borivali tunnel project. This twin tube tunnel between Thane and Borivali alignment will go down to Sanjay Gandhi National Park, creating a direct link between Western Express Highway on Borivali side and Thane Kotbunder Road on Thane side. The total length of the project is 11.8 km. This will shorten the journey from Thane to Borivali by 12 km, saving about 1 hour in travel time.
Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the Rs 6,300-crore tunnel construction project on the Koregaon-Mulund link road.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for redevelopment of Kalyan Yard and Fast Shakti Pannoku Cargo Terminal at Turpe in Navi Mumbai. Kalyan yard will help to separate long distance and suburban traffic. The redesign will increase the yard’s capacity to handle more trains, reduce congestion and improve the efficiency of train operations. The Kathi Shakti multi-purpose cargo terminal at Navi Mumbai will be built on an area of over 32,600 square meters. It will provide additional employment opportunities to local people and will serve as an additional terminal for handling cement and other materials.
PM Modi dedicates to the nation the new platforms at Lokmanya Tilak Terminal and the expansion of platform number 10 and 11 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal.
Prime Minister Modi will launch the Chief Minister Yuva Karya Precision Scheme with an allocation of around 5600 crore rupees. It is a transformative training program aimed at addressing youth unemployment by providing opportunities for skill development and industry exposure to youth in the age group of 18 to 30 years.
PM Modi will also visit the Information Service Secretariat of India at the Bandra Kurla campus in Mumbai to inaugurate the INS Towers. This new building will cater to the growing needs of INS members for modern and efficient office space in Mumbai. Notably, it will act as the nerve center for the newspaper industry in Mumbai.
