PM Modi Lays Foundation Stone for Cancer Research Institute in Madhya Pradesh – Announces Cancer Treatment Centers in Every District
In a significant step towards improving cancer treatment facilities across India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Cancer Medical and Research Institute in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. This institute, which will be built with an estimated investment of ₹200 crore, aims to provide world-class cancer treatment and research facilities.
A State-of-the-Art Cancer Treatment Facility
The upcoming Bageshwar Dham Cancer Medical and Research Institute will be a cutting-edge facility designed to cater to cancer patients from across the country. It will be spread across 10 acres of land and will have 100 beds to accommodate patients.
The hospital will be equipped with advanced medical technology, modern cancer detection equipment, a dedicated radiation therapy unit, specialized treatment wards, patient accommodation facilities, research labs, and a training center for medical professionals.
During the event, PM Modi expressed gratitude to Dhirendra Shastri Swami for his financial contribution to the construction of this institute, acknowledging his support for the welfare of cancer patients.
Cancer Treatment Centers in Every District – PM Modi’s Promise
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi announced that within the next three years, a cancer treatment center will be established in every district across India. This initiative is part of the Ayushman Bharat program, which aims to ensure affordable and accessible healthcare for all citizens.
