In Uttar Pradesh, police are searching for the ATM robbers who shot dead a police sub-inspector.
Assistant Inspector of Police Praveen Kumar was on patrol in Anla, Uttar Pradesh last night (Tuesday). Someone was standing suspiciously in the doorway of the ATM at the time.
While interrogating him, two men came out from inside the ATM and shot Praveen Kumar and fled. Praveen Kumar is currently admitted to the hospital. His health is stable.
The police investigation into the incident revealed that the ATM machine was opened by a case cutter. Police are currently working to set up a special team to nab the culprits.
