Russian President Putin: Similarly, Russian President Vladimir Putin also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on the election results over the phone. In a press release issued by the Russian Presidential Palace, he said, “The Russian President warmly congratulated Narendra Modi on the BJP’s victory in the recently concluded parliamentary elections.” Similarly, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also congratulated Modi.
Unlike the last two Lok Sabha elections, the BJP did not get a single majority this time.
