Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, stating that visionaries like him emerge only once in a century. On the occasion of Bharati’s birth anniversary, the Prime Minister launched a compilation of Bharati’s works in New Delhi.
Speaking at the event, PM Modi highlighted that Bharati’s ideas and profound wisdom continue to inspire people even today. He emphasized that his government, driven by a sense of duty, is committed to bringing Bharati’s contributions to the forefront among the masses. He also noted a personal connection between Bharati and his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi.
The Prime Minister expressed pride in Bharati’s legacy, stating that leaders of his caliber, with a deep sense of service to the nation, are rare and appear only once in a century.
The 23-volume compilation of Bharati’s works, edited by Seeni Viswanathan of Alliance Publishers, was officially released during the event. Union Minister L. Murugan and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
This initiative not only honors Bharati’s legacy but also ensures that his works and ideas reach future generations, underscoring their timeless relevance and transformative impact.
