The southwest monsoon has intensified in most parts of India. Due to this, heavy rains lashed various parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. At that time, 16 people, including 7 children, were killed by lightning in different parts of Rajasthan; 21 were injured, including 6 children. The injured were admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gelad has announced that Rs 5 lakh each will be provided to the families of the victims of the lightning strike in Rajasthan. He also ordered compensation for the injured. In this situation, Prime Minister Modi has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the lightning strike in Rajasthan.
