Prime Minister To Launch Development Works Worth ₹2,200 Crore Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi today, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development initiatives valued at approximately ₹2,200 crore.
Ahead of his visit, PM Modi posted on X in Hindi, saying, “August 2nd is a very special day for my Kashi family members. At around 11 AM tomorrow, I will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects in the fields of education, health, sports, tourism, and connectivity. On this occasion, I will also have the privilege of releasing the 20th installment under the PM-Kisan scheme.”
The Prime Minister will unveil development projects covering key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, urban development, and cultural preservation. These efforts aim to promote all-round urban growth, rejuvenate Varanasi’s rich cultural legacy, improve connectivity, and raise the overall living standards in the city.
