Prince Harry Punched This Royal Member During a 2013 Argument, Left Him With a Bloody Nose
A new book by Andrew Lownie has alleged that Prince Harry and Prince Andrew were involved in a heated altercation in 2013 during a family event, resulting in punches being exchanged.
Titled Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, the book claims that the Duke of York and Prince Harry got into a physical confrontation over something that Andrew had reportedly said behind Harry’s back. The author, Andrew Lownie, has explored the troubled relationship between Prince Andrew and his nephews, Prince William and Prince Harry.
As per excerpts published by The Telegraph, Harry allegedly came out on top during the scuffle, and Andrew ended up with a bloody nose before others intervened to break up the fight.
Prince Andrew, younger brother of King Charles, who has been disgraced due to his associations with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is said to have told Harry that his marriage with Meghan Markle would not “last beyond a month”.
He reportedly criticised his nephew for “going mad” and not conducting “any background checks into Meghan’s past” before tying the knot in 2018. According to a source quoted in the book, Harry later confessed to William that he despised Andrew.
Ongoing Tensions Over the Years
The friction between Harry and Andrew appears to have been simmering for years. The book mentions instances where Andrew was allegedly disrespectful to Kate Middleton, now Princess of Wales.
Lownie also wrote that Prince William has made behind-the-scenes efforts to remove his uncle from Royal Lodge, the sprawling 30-room residence in Windsor Great Park. William reportedly believes Andrew has been misusing the property and his royal privileges.
Prince Andrew is facing the possibility of eviction from the estate after the King withdrew his annual allowance, reportedly worth £1 million, last year, according to The Telegraph. A source in the book stated that the Prince of Wales is determined to evict Andrew and his wife from the luxurious home.
These revelations follow earlier claims made by Prince Harry in his memoir Spare, where he described a physical fight with his elder brother William at Kensington Palace in 2019. According to Harry, William pushed him to the floor during an argument over Meghan Markle’s alleged “rude” and “harsh” behaviour.
