Priyansh Jora Gets Engaged to Rishma Rochlani, Calls Her ‘His Everything’
Actor Priyansh Jora, known for his debut in Anil Kapoor’s TV series 24 and lead role in the 2014 comedy-drama Tu Mera Hero, recently got engaged to sports anchor Rishma Rochlani in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. The couple had received widespread attention after Jora’s portrayal of Vinayak Prabhu in the 2023 Netflix survival thriller Kaala Paani.
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Priyansh shared that his life took a meaningful turn after meeting Rishma. “My focus shifted from my professional life to my personal life—how to move forward and share the happiness and peace we found in each other. From the first day I saw her, I found my peace. For me, she is my home, my life partner, my everything,” he said.
The couple got engaged in Mumbai just two days ago, following a surprise proposal in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, two months earlier. Priyansh recalled, “When we decided to take the plunge, we realised nothing matters more than being together. It was an intimate ceremony with our families at our home in Mumbai.”
Talking about the experience, he added, “The inner child in me has resurfaced… I didn’t know this would feel so comforting.” While the wedding date has not been set, Priyansh joked, “I am already married to her in my head, but the ritual will surely happen.”
Earlier in the day, Priyansh shared a collection of photos from their Gulmarg trip, captioned ‘The Most Beautiful Yes’. He described the dreamy proposal: “On a quiet, snowy afternoon, he got down on one knee with shaking hands and a full heart. She laughed through her tears, completely surprised yet completely certain. The mountains stood still, the snow held its breath, and she said yes.”
In the shared pictures, the couple can be seen enjoying the snow-covered beauty of Gulmarg, capturing a truly magical moment in their journey together.
