Puducherry to be Upgraded to a Municipal Corporation – Chief Minister Rangasamy Announces in Assembly!
Speaking in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Rangasamy announced that Puducherry and Uzhavarkarai municipalities would be merged and upgraded to form the Puducherry Municipal Corporation.
Following this decision, development projects for the city will be implemented soon, leading to improved basic infrastructure and facilities.
Additionally, the Chief Minister also declared that the salaries of ASHA workers in the healthcare sector would be increased from ₹10,000 to ₹18,000.
