The Chennai Meteorological Department said on Saturday that there is a chance of rain in most districts in Tamil Nadu for the next 5 days.
According to the Meteorological Department,
The coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and adjoining hinterlands are likely to receive showers in the next 24 hours due to heat wave.
Thundershowers will develop at several places in Tirupur, Dindigul, Nilgiris, Coimbatore and Theni districts from the 21st of this month.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into coastal areas of Kerala, Karnataka, southwest and central western Arabian Sea as strong winds are likely.
