“Ready for an Alliance with DMK, But…” – Seeman Changes His Tone! What Did He Say Next?
During a press meet in Sivagangai district, Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) chief coordinator Seeman strongly criticized the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu under the ruling government. When questioned about potential political alliances, he gave a surprising response, stating that he was open to an alliance with the DMK—but with a crucial condition.
Seeman’s Shocking Statement on Alliances!
NTK has consistently maintained a stand-alone position in Tamil Nadu politics, refusing to ally with major parties. However, Seeman’s new statement has sparked intense discussions.
“Tamil Nadu deserves good governance. Politics should serve the people. But instead, discussions revolve around alliances rather than real issues. What is the point of talking about alliances when governance is failing?” he asked.
He further added, “If the DMK government provides a transparent explanation regarding corruption allegations and answers all questions related to governance, then I am ready to consider an alliance with them.”
Seeman’s Hard-Hitting Questions to Politicians!
Speaking at a Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) meeting in Ilayangudi, Seeman addressed party cadres and emphasized the need for real political change. Later, while interacting with journalists, he raised several tough questions about Tamil Nadu’s political climate:
“Can a political party win an election without strong policies? Look at those who have won seats in the Assembly and Parliament. What are they actually doing? Are they fighting for the people’s concerns, or just enjoying power?” he questioned.
“The People’s Support Cannot Be Ignored” – Seeman’s Challenge
Seeman proudly pointed out that NTK, despite not forming alliances, secured 3.6 million votes in the last elections. “What will you do if this support doubles in the upcoming election?” he asked.
He accused ruling parties of making empty promises before elections and failing to take responsibility once in power. “Politics should be about duty, not just occupying positions. Leaders must be accountable to the people,” he asserted.
“Does the Government Have the Courage?”
Seeman openly challenged the ruling party to prove its commitment by taking decisive action on key issues:
- “Build the new airport in Parandur!”
- “Seize agricultural lands and displace farmers if you dare!”
- “Try suppressing the people’s rights and see what happens!”
“The government lacks the courage to act, while I have the guts to speak up. That’s the difference between me and them,” he declared.
Tamil Nadu’s Deteriorating Law and Order – Seeman’s Blistering Criticism
Seeman also slammed the state’s law enforcement, highlighting a rise in political violence and corruption. He cited specific cases, including the murder of Jagabar Ali, who was vocal against sand mining mafia.
“If the government had taken strong action after his murder, would the killing of Zakir Hussain have happened? Today, the people are forced to feel grateful just to be alive—this is the current state of Tamil Nadu,” he lamented.
“A Murder is a Murder – No Matter How Many!”
Seeman further questioned the government’s claims of improved law and order, dismissing them as manipulated statistics.
“Even if the number of murders has reduced, a single killing is still a loss of life. If well-known figures are unsafe in Tamil Nadu, imagine the condition of the common people,” he remarked.
Seeman’s Statement Creates Political Ripples!
His comments have triggered fresh debates in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. His conditional offer for an alliance with the DMK, coupled with his attacks on the government’s failures, has left many wondering about NTK’s next move.
- Will the DMK respond to these allegations?
- Will NTK continue its independent stance, or could there be a political shift?
- How will Tamil Nadu’s political future unfold?
