The real victory in the Vikravandi by-election is for Bamako. DMK’s victory is token’s victory. Ramdas, the founder of Bamaka, said that the success was achieved for the Rs 250 crore spent.
DMK candidate Aniyur Siva has won by a margin of 67 thousand votes in the Vikravandi assembly constituency by-election. BMC candidate C Anbumani, who contested on behalf of the National Democratic Alliance, was defeated by getting 56,000 votes.
Ramadas’s words: Regarding the result of the Vikravandi by-election, BMC founder Ramadas said in a statement, “DMK has won the by-election for the Vikravandi Assembly constituency. The candidate of the Proletarian People’s Party, C. Anbumani, has secured 56,261 votes. Regardless of the result, the DMK will accept the decision of the people in the Vikravandi by-election.” accepts.
Right from the day Vikravandi by-election was announced, the ruling party started its encroachment. Apart from Chief Minister MK Stalin, the remaining 33 ministers and more than 125 members of the Legislative Assembly camped in Vikravandi constituency and showered them with cash and gifts. Each day the voters were given tokens like bags of rice, grocery items, vetti & saree, golden nose ring and money of Rs.300 to Rs.500 per day.
A win for money: Madhu flowed to six. They cooked biryani from village to village and gave a party to the voters. Finally, each vote was paid up to Rs.3000. In total, DMK gave up to Rs.10,000 for each vote. In that sense, DMK’s victory is a victory for rice bags, a victory for tokens, a victory for vettis & sarees, a victory for golden nose rings, a victory for groceries, a victory for the flood of liquor, and a victory for Rs 250 crores spent on DMK’s behalf.
On top of all this, the Election Officers and Police Officers of Vikravandi Constituency became DMK’s volunteers and not only laughed at DMK’s election violations but also supported all the violations. In that sense, this is a victory for the fake alliance formed by the DMK, the election officials and the police.
Victory of BAM: On the other hand, the Patali Mankal Party came into the fray relying only on the people. The Patali People’s Party and the coalition parties went door to door and met the people and told them about the anti-people activities and social injustice of the DMK government and gathered votes. To prevent even that, people were taken away and locked in bars. Despite all these repressions, the candidate of the Proletarian People’s Party, C. Anbumani, has collected 56,261 votes. It is noteworthy that this is 75 percent more than the 32,198 votes received by the Proletarian People’s Party candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The fact that 56,261 voters voted for the candidate of the Proletarian People’s Party despite being showered with money and gifts by the ruling party is a victory for democracy and the people’s work of the APC. In that way, the real victory in the Vikravandi constituency has been achieved by the Proletariat People’s Party. DMK’s success in pumping money was temporary. AAP is sure to get a huge victory in the 2026 elections.
Ramadas thanked the people: I would like to extend my congratulations to C. Anbumani, the APC candidate who won 56,261 votes in the Vikravandi assembly by-election. In the Vikravandi election, the BJP won. BMC campaigned in support of the candidate. And my heartfelt thanks to the leaders of the alliance parties and to all the level administrators of the APC and alliance parties who have done the field work” he said.
