Who is this Chandrasekhar?: Dr Bemmasani Chandrasekhar, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time, has won the Guntur Lok Sabha constituency. Chandrasekhar is also one of the millionaire MPs. He had claimed in his election affidavit that he had assets worth Rs 5,785 crore.

Bemmasani Chandrasekhar, a doctor, was born in Buribalam, Andhra Pradesh. His family is a farming family. Her husband, who is a doctor, wrote the entrance exam and got 27th rank in the country and studied MBBS. He completed his MBBS from NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada in 1999 and his MD from Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pennsylvania in 2005. He has also worked as a doctor abroad.

Abroad: Chandrasekhar started UWorld, an educational placement guidance firm. The institute has now emerged as an important educational institute that fulfills the educational and career dreams of many students.

Chandrasekhar’s father Sambasivarao was in love with former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao. Due to this he joined the Telugu Desam Party. Later served as Narasaravpet city vice president. In the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Chandrasekhar tried to get the Narasaravpet Lok Sabha seat from the Telugu Desam Party.

However, Chandrasekhar did not get a seat as senior leader Rayapati Sambasiva Rao was allotted a seat. In this case, Chandrasekhar won the 2024 Lok Sabha election by securing 3,44,695 votes as a Telugu Desam Party candidate in the Guntur Lok Sabha constituency.

Rs. 5,785 crore property: Chandrasekhar, who has been elected as a member of the Guntur Lok Sabha, has stated that he has a total family property of Rs 5,785.28 crore, according to the affidavit filed in his nomination. Thus, Chandrasekhar was the richest candidate in the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

According to Chandrasekhar’s affidavit, Rs. 2,448.72 crores, his wife has assets of Rs.2,343.78 crores and his children have assets of Rs.1,000 crores. He also mentioned that he owns luxury cars like Rolls Royce Ghost, Mercedes Benz, Tesla in America.

He also said that he has investments and shares in several companies from America. At the same time, Chandrasekhar also said that his family has a loan of Rs. 1,138 crore from the JP Morgan Chase Bank of America.
