The temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams, and it has been glorified by five great Alwars – Periyalwar, Nammazhwar, Thirumangai Alwar, Thirumazhisai Alwar, and Andal. A unique tradition at this temple involves offering 17 special meals (Naivedyam) to the deity daily, and Krishna’s attire is changed after every offering.
3. Puri – The Sacred Temple of Lord Jagannath
The Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, is one of the holiest sites in Hinduism. Here, Lord Vishnu appears as Jagannath, along with his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra.
It is believed that every morning, Lord Vishnu travels to Rameswaram and returns to Puri for lunch. Because of this, the temple serves grand offerings to the deity daily.
The annual Rath Yatra (Chariot Festival), where the deities are taken on a grand procession, attracts millions of devotees.

The city of Mathura is also famous for its grand Janmashtami celebrations, which attract thousands of devotees every year.
