Scientists announce discovery of two peaks 100 times higher than Everest

Scientists have announced that two peaks that are 100 times higher than Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, have been discovered, causing shock. A news report on this can now be found.

New Zealander Edmund Hillary and Nepalese Tenzing Norgay first reached the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. Since then, reaching the summit of Mount Everest, which is 8,849 meters high, has been the goal of many serious mountaineers around the world.

However, Dutch scientists recently announced that two secret peaks that are 100 times higher than that have been discovered. Scientists said that such islands the size of a continent cannot be found anywhere on our planet, and they also reported that they include mountain ranges that are about 620 miles, that is, almost a thousand kilometers high.

Many people have raised the question of whether these will tarnish the fame of Mount Everest.

In this case, it must be said that the new information recently released by scientists from Utrecht University in the Netherlands has cleared up the confusion of mountaineers. Yes, because scientists have clarified that the two newly discovered mountain peaks are not on the surface of the earth.

Scientists have also released many details about these two major peaks, stating that they are buried about 2,000 kilometers beneath our feet.

Accordingly, it has been reported that the two structures located under the African continent and the Pacific Ocean are located at the boundary between the core and the surface of the earth. Scientists have estimated that the two buried major peaks may have appeared half a billion years ago or even 4 billion years before the earth is believed to have formed.

Scientists have also stated that the structure, which has been pushed down from the surface through an activity called SUBDUCTION, is covered by TECTONIC plates.

These systems, called LARGE LOW SEISMIC VELOCITY PROVINCES (LLSVP), located in the MANTLE region of the Earth, have been studied for decades. It has been reported that these systems are many times hotter than the surface of the Earth.

It is noteworthy that recently, another group of scientists have suggested that these two systems may be the remains of another planet that collided with the Earth many billions of years ago. In any case, the point is that there is no problem with the fame of our Mount Everest for now.
