The Ex-Servicemen’s Association has announced that it will hold a nationwide protest to condemn the arrest of Amalraj, a former soldier and Seeman’s bodyguard.
Suresh Babu, a member of the association, who met reporters in this regard, accused the police inspector of overstepping his authority and attacking Amalraj, the guard of Seeman’s house, by calling him by his caste.
He urged the Chief Minister, who is in control of the police, to take moral responsibility for this incident and to apologize publicly.
He said that he would unite all the ex-servicemen’s associations across India to protest against this and file a case against the police inspector and take legal action. He said that he would file a complaint with the Tamil Nadu DGP in this regard.
