Television actress Shireen Mirza, currently in her third trimester, shared delightful glimpses of her baby shower, which was hosted by her husband Hasan Sartaj and their families.
A month after announcing her pregnancy, Shireen has been actively posting sweet updates from her journey to motherhood. The recent baby shower, full of joy and warmth, was a heartwarming celebration of this new chapter.
Taking to Instagram, Shireen posted a video capturing special moments from the celebration. Dressed in an elegant cream-coloured gown with bell sleeves, she sat on a chair as her husband and friends joined her one by one. Sporting a “Mom-to-be” tiara and sash, Shireen was seen dancing joyfully to the iconic Koi Mil Gaya song, originally sung by Jatin-Lalit, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Udit Narayan, and Alka Yagnik. Her husband Hasan’s lively entry added to the festive spirit, and Shireen glowed with excitement and happiness.
The backdrop featured blue and pink balloons, symbolising boy and girl respectively. In a humorous moment at the end of the clip, Shireen pointed at her baby bump and lip-synced to the line from the song, “Kya batau yaaron? The video caught the attention of her co-star Krishna Mukherjee from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Bigg Boss 14, who commented, “Awwww” with heart and evil-eye emojis. Several fans also poured in their love and best wishes for the parents-to-be.
Shireen and Hasan also marked the occasion by cutting a charming vanilla cake, decorated with pink and white frosting and featuring a 3D question mark, adding a playful element as they awaited the gender reveal of their baby.
Known for her roles in Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dhhai Kilo Prem, Gutur Gu, and Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, Shireen tied the knot with Hasan Sartaj in a grand wedding in Jaipur in October 2021.
The couple had earlier shared the news of their pregnancy with a heartfelt post:
