Shocking Incident in Salem’s Layanmedu: DMK Functionary Threatens Special Sub-Inspector
A shocking incident has come to light in the Layanmedu area of Salem, where a DMK functionary allegedly threatened a Special Sub-Inspector (SSI) of police.
The incident began when two boys riding a two-wheeler along with two young girls reportedly asked the girls to remove their burqas and attempted to take them away. A concerned bystander, noticing this unusual behavior, questioned the boys. When they failed to provide a proper response, the bystander immediately alerted the local police station.
Upon receiving the information, Special Sub-Inspector (SSI) Manikandan rushed to the spot and attempted to take the boys into custody for further inquiry. However, DMK functionary Ramalingam intervened and allegedly obstructed the police officer. Reports state that Ramalingam openly threatened SSI Manikandan in front of the public, stating that their party was in power.
