The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Foundation oversees the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. There have been allegations of corruption in the land purchased for the construction of the temple. The foundation has denied this.
The sadhus, led by Swami Avimukteshwarananda, are planning to approach the Allahabad High Court to inquire into the cost of building the Ayodhya Ram temple. Swami Avimukteshwarananda had said this a day before yesterday.
He further said that many historical temples have been demolished in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. They need to be rebuilt and rebuilt.
He was also a disciple of Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati, head of the Ramalaya Charitable Trust, Shankaracharya. The Ramalaya Foundation has demanded that a guard should be appointed at the temple until the foundation is cleared of all charges. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, spokesperson of the President of Ram Janmabhoomi Foundation, has denied the allegations.
