In this context, it has been announced that Thirukkural will be introduced as a separate subject at the University of Chennai. Thirukkural has been introduced as a subject under the title ‘Thirukkural for Business Quality’. This information has been confirmed by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Chennai.
He said that in the current academic year, Thirukkural will be introduced in the University of Chennai and its affiliated colleges.
