Strong Wave of Opposition Against DMK Rule” – Says Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran
Thoothukudi:
Tamil Nadu BJP State President Nainar Nagendran stated that a strong wave of public opposition has emerged against the DMK government’s four-year rule. Speaking to reporters at the Thoothukudi airport, he criticized the current administration for its failures and anti-people policies.
He questioned the DMK’s promise of providing ₹1000 to eligible women, asking, “Who are they calling eligible women? What are the clear criteria?” He further pointed out that issues like increased electricity tariffs and property taxes have drastically changed the public’s mindset.
Nagendran asserted that the BJP–AIADMK alliance is aimed at the welfare of Tamil Nadu and expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will secure a massive victory in the state.
