Kodanad Murder and Robbery Case: Sudhakaran Appears for CBCID Inquiry in Coimbatore

In connection with the Kodanad murder and robbery case, Sudhakaran appeared in person for interrogation at the CBCID office in Coimbatore.

In 2017, unidentified individuals broke into the Kodanad Estate in Nilgiris district, murdered security guard Om Bahadur, and looted valuables before fleeing the scene.

Following the incident, the Tamil Nadu government directed the CBCID to conduct a thorough investigation. So far, ten people have been arrested, and more than 500 individuals have been questioned by the CBCID police.

As part of the investigation, a summons was issued to Sudhakaran, the foster son of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, for questioning regarding his potential connection to the case.

On Thursday, Sudhakaran arrived at the CBCID office in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, where officers conducted an extensive inquiry. Reports suggest that the entire interrogation was recorded in both video and audio formats.
