Tamilisai Accuses DMK of Holding a Meeting to Divert Attention from Law and Order Issues and Corruption in Tamil Nadu

Senior BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan has accused the ruling DMK government of organizing a political meeting to divert public attention from the prevailing law and order issues and corruption scandals in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking to reporters after participating in a black flag protest in front of her residence in Saligramam, Chennai, Tamilisai stated, “The administration in Tamil Nadu is failing in multiple sectors. However, instead of addressing these critical issues, the DMK government is focusing on political gatherings to manipulate public perception. This protest is a way of expressing our strong condemnation of the Chief Minister’s inaction.”

She further criticized the government’s handling of public grievances, highlighting that state government employees have gone on strike, which she claimed was evidence of the administration’s inefficiency. “The DMK government has failed in every aspect of governance. In an attempt to distract the people from their failures, they are conducting political events instead of addressing real issues. The BJP and NDA are the only alternatives that can safeguard the welfare of Tamil Nadu’s people. That is why we have launched this black flag protest,” she said.

Regarding the delimitation of constituencies, Tamilisai recalled that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had assured that Tamil Nadu would not be affected by it in any way. However, she alleged that the DMK government is deliberately spreading misinformation and creating unnecessary panic among the people to cover up its administrative failures.

Additionally, Tamilisai questioned the DMK’s inaction on crucial issues affecting Tamil Nadu, such as the Cauvery water dispute, the Mekedatu dam issue, and the safety concerns surrounding the Mullaperiyar dam. She demanded to know, “Has the DMK government ever conducted any significant meeting to address these critical problems?”

“The people of Tamil Nadu need governance that truly protects their rights, welfare, and livelihood. Political gimmicks and mere meetings will not solve the real challenges faced by the state. The future of Tamil Nadu lies in the hands of nationalist forces that are committed to genuine progress, not in the hands of a government that thrives on deception,” Tamilisai concluded.
