Tanjore Big Temple Hundi Collection Totals ₹44 Lakh – Devotees’ Offering Reflects Faith!
The world-renowned Tanjore Brihadeeswarar Temple witnesses thousands of devotees daily, offering prayers and making contributions to the temple.
Recently, the 11 temple hundis (donation boxes) were opened and counted in the presence of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department’s Deputy Commissioner.
The total collection amounted to approximately ₹44 lakh in cash and 18 grams of gold. This significant contribution reflects the deep devotion of worshippers and will be utilized for temple administration and maintenance.
