BJP and Shiva devotees are protesting against the construction of a wire fence in front of the Kashi Vishwanathar Temple in Tenkasi.
Maintenance work is underway at the Kashi Vishwanathar Temple in Tenkasi city to conduct the Kumbabhishekam ceremony.
While the officials of the Charitable Trusts Department are trying to build a wire fence near the Rajagopuram of the Kashi Vishwanathar Temple, Hindu organizations and the public have condemned this.
While the officials are working on building a gate without any opposition, BJP and Shiva devotees are protesting at the Kashi Vishwanathar Temple.
They have also urged that the construction of the wire fence should be stopped immediately. Meanwhile, the police are in talks with the BJP members who are protesting and praying in the temple premises.
