With this, the moisture of the east wind from the Bay of Bengal will gradually spread to the eastern Indian states from July 8.

It will also spread to other states including Punjab and Haryana from July 10. Therefore, the Indian Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rains in the northwestern and central parts of the country from July 10.
