The number of soldiers killed in the terrorist attack in Jammu has increased to 5.
An Indian Army vehicle was patrolling in Maschedi area of Jammu’s Kathua district yesterday evening. Terrorists attacked an army vehicle while it was moving in a hilly area. The terrorists who were lurking in the hills hurled grenades and fired at the army vehicle. The security forces also retaliated to this attack.
However, 4 soldiers were killed in the terrorist attack. 6 soldiers were seriously injured. After this, additional security personnel rushed to the area. Also, the seriously injured soldiers were admitted to the hospital and receiving treatment.
In this case, another soldier who was seriously injured in the terrorist attack died without treatment. As a result, the number of security forces who died in the Jammu terror attack has increased to 5.
Also, security forces have cordoned off the site of the attack and are conducting intensive searches. A gun battle is going on between the terrorists hiding in the hill and the security forces.
