It was a great pleasure to participate in the event held on behalf of Voice of Coimbatore in Coimbatore. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Brother Sudarsan and all the administrators of the Voice of Coimbatore organization for giving me the opportunity to participate in this program which has been going on for the past three days, in which many excellent speakers have participated.
There are four types of Indian politics: the process politics followed by our honorable Prime Minister of India Mr. Modi, the politics followed by others, the politics of bending to any limits for votes, family politics, and free politics. It is because our Prime Minister has clearly realized the difference between freebies and welfare schemes that the infrastructure of the country has developed. At the same time, welfare schemes for our mothers are also being implemented more and more.
In the state of Assam, which is ruled by the BJP, since October 2020, 37 lakh mothers have been given Rs.830 per month. In the state of Madhya Pradesh, from last March 2023, 1 crore 29 lakh mothers will get Rs. 1,250 is offered. In the state of Chhattisgarh, Rs.1,000 per month will be given to 70 lakh mothers from March 2024. In the state of Maharashtra, from July 2024, 1 crore 70 lakh mothers will receive Rs. 1,500 is provided. From September 2024, Rs 10,000 per year will be given to 80 lakh girls in Odisha state. Apart from these, there are many welfare schemes brought by our Prime Minister Modi like bank account, free rice, cooking gas cylinder, medical insurance for 40 crore women. Our Prime Minister is a visionary who plans for the next fifty years. When the Tamil Nadu parties were doing politics on the Chennai Metro project, we wrote a letter to our Prime Minister on behalf of the Tamil Nadu BJP. Immediately within a week, he announced the Chennai Metro project as a central government project and allocated funds. Tamil Nadu BJP will take the same initiative for the Coimbatore Metro project.
The rich heritage of our country is scattered all over the world. In the Museum of London, there are about 67 lakh objects. There are many things that have been brought from our country. Through those objects, the world studies the culture of our country. For our children to know our culture, we must restore the culture. We need to bring back our cultural roots around the world. Our Honorable Prime Minister of India Modi is doing it.
Tamilnadu political parties do not talk about politics that are useful to the people. Blaming the central government for their mistakes is an out-dated anti-Hindi politic. There is a situation in Tamil Nadu where even intellectuals can do politics only if they are slaves. At least the middle class is affected by this. Tamil Nadu politics will not change until the middle class speaks about their needs.
The middle class should come forward to openly discuss politics for their betterment. Developmental politics should be taken. Only then, political parties will come forward to implement them. Change is not just about voting. It is also in our speech. Such programs of Voice of Coimbatore should be an opportunity for the formation of such organizations in all cities across Tamil Nadu and for the middle-class people to speak their views openly. Building an intellectual nation requires the involvement of individuals along with the government. Let us all work together to become a developed nation called Vikshit Bharat in the next 25 years.
