The stock market has been trading with a rise since this morning (June 15).
The Sensex is up 260 points.
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex was up 262.68 points at 52,814.21.
This is an increase of 0.54 per cent in total trade.
Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 74.60 points to 15,886.45. This is an increase of 0.50 per cent in total trade.
Only 3 of the top 30 stocks in the Sensex fell.
Shares of the other 27 companies are up. Asian Paint was up 2.41 per cent, IndusInd Bank 2.41 per cent and ONGC 1.88 per cent.
