Season one will comprise a total of 10 episodes, unveiled over a span of four weeks. Shot at the opulent and historic Hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, The Traitors unites 20 familiar faces from the entertainment world in a high-stakes competition of trickery, strategy, and endurance. The show follows a distinctive format where participants are split into two groups: the faithful and the covert ‘Traitors’ (also called Mafias). The glamorous cast includes Anshula Kapoor, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaurr, Jasmine Bhasin, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Apoorva Mukhija (aka The Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, Raftaar, and Sufi Motiwala.
During the day, contestants cooperate in challenges to add to a prize pool worth ₹1 crore. But by night, the hidden traitors strike, working in secrecy to eliminate the faithful during tense roundtable banishments. As the show reaches its climax, the loyalists must expose all the traitors to claim the grand prize. However, if even a single traitor remains unidentified, they will claim the entire amount.
So far, three contestants and one traitor have exited the show. The eliminated participants include Karan Kundrra, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raj Kundra (identified as one of the traitors). With mind-bending strategies, betrayals, evolving alliances, and a massive ₹1 crore reward on the line, The Traitors is shaping up to be one of the most gripping reality TV experiences of the year.
