At Srinivasanallur near Kumbakonam, people from northern states are busy preparing Ganesha idols.

Ganesha Chaturthi is going to be celebrated on September 7 across the country. In this case, they are making idols from one foot to 10 feet using papaya flour, paper pulp, small sticks and coconut fibers.

Various types of Ganesha idols like Rama Ganesha, Annapatsi Ganesha, Lion Ganesha, Rishabh Ganesha and Surasamhara Ganesha are made and painted beautifully.
