BJP state president Annamalai has stated that those who exploit the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department will definitely go to jail.
In his post on the X platform, he mentioned:
The DMK government claimed that renovation and development work worth several hundred crores was carried out at the Thiruchendur Subramanya Swamy Temple. However, continuous reports in the media reveal that even basic facilities have not been properly provided at the temple.
In this situation, the DMK government allegedly sent the police to threaten BJP Tamil Nadu member Pradeep Rajan at his residence at 4 AM, after he released a video exposing the poor condition of the restrooms built for devotees inside the temple premises.
The DMK government, which is deeply entrenched in corruption at every level, has made it a habit to use the police force and hired goons to suppress those who expose its misdeeds.
We strongly condemn this authoritarian approach. Once the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) comes to power in Tamil Nadu in 2026, all those who have looted the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department will certainly be sent to jail, Annamalai asserted.
