Trichy S Surya has been removed from all the responsibilities of BJP. Likewise, Kalyanaraman, the state observer of BJP’s think tank, has been removed from the party’s core membership for one year.
Trichy Surya is the son of DMK senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Trichy Siva. He was initially active in DMK. After that he joined BJP.
He is currently a staunch supporter of Annamalai, the state president in the BJP. His speeches often stir up controversy.
Trichy Surya was currently serving as the State General Secretary of Other Backward Team in BJP. In this case, Trichy S Surya has been removed from all the responsibilities of the BJP. Sai Suresh Kumaresan, state president of BJP’s Other Backward Team, announced this. His statement said:
Other Backward Classes State General Secretary Trichy S Surya has been removed from all responsibilities as per instructions of the state leadership as he has defied the control of the party and engaged in activities that bring disrepute to the party. Therefore, party administrators and volunteers are advised not to have any contact with him on behalf of the party.
Recently it was said that there was a conflict between BJP state president Annamalai and Tamilisai. In this regard, Trichy Surya gave an interview on several YouTube channels. During this interview he severely criticized Tamilisai Soundararajan. It is in such an environment that all responsibilities are said to have been taken away from him.
Similarly, another executive in BJP has been removed from the basic membership of the party for one year. In this regard, the announcement issued by BJP’s state office secretary Chandran said: “The think tank’s state observer Kalyanaraman has been spreading slander on social media without proper evidence about the state leadership and party workers after the results of the last parliamentary elections.
Kalyanaraman is removed from the charge of the party and as a basic member for 1 year as per the recommendation of the Disciplinary Committee as this is beyond the control of the party and brings disrepute to the party. Therefore, party administrators and volunteers are advised not to have any contact with him on behalf of the party.
