Trump Accuses Pelosi of Using ‘Inside Information’ for Stock Market Profits, Calls Her ‘Degenerate’
Former US President Donald Trump has accused ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of profiting from “inside information” in the stock market, intensifying long-standing political criticism over her family’s investments.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump alleged that Pelosi and her husband outperformed “every hedge fund in 2024” and claimed it was due to insider trading. “These two very average minds beat all the super geniuses on Wall Street… it’s all inside information! Is anybody looking into this?” he wrote, also calling Pelosi a “disgusting degenerate” who “impeached me twice on no grounds, and lost.”
Pelosi has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to her husband’s trades. While political opponents have often pointed to potential conflicts of interest, no official investigation has resulted in charges against her.
Analysts note that even unverified high-profile allegations can temporarily impact investor sentiment, potentially causing short-term market volatility in sectors linked to political controversies.
