Uttar Pradesh BJP vice-president and legislator AK Sharma was appointed on Saturday.
The BJP has decided to strengthen the party ahead of next year’s assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier this month, BJP national general secretary (organization) and party chief Radha Mohan Singh held consultations with ministers and leaders.
In this position AK Sharma has been appointed as the State Vice President of the party.
There have been talks between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that there is a problem. It has been reported that the Prime Minister has urged the appointment of AK Sharma as the Deputy Chief Minister and Yogi Adityanath has refused to do so.
Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath visited Delhi and met various leaders, including Prime Minister Modi.
It is learned that AK Sharma may have been appointed as the Uttar Pradesh BJP vice-president as an extension of these meetings.
