A special abhishekam was held at Sri Subramania Swamy Temple in Vallimala near Gadpadi in Vellore district on the occasion of Vaikasi month Krithikai.
Valli in the hill temple, Deivanai Sametha Subramanya Swami was given vibhuti bracelet and silver armor and Maha Deeparathan was performed.
Following this, a special pooja was held for Valliammai, who is enshrined in a separate shrine at the foot of the hill.
Also, the Moolavas and Utsava Murthys in the lower temple were specially decorated. A large number of devotees attended and had darshan of Swami.
