Alok Kumar, the International Working President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), condemned the recent attacks by Khalistan supporters on Hindus in Canada. He highlighted that the negligence of Canadian police allowed these attacks to occur without any fear of consequence for the perpetrators.
According to Alok Kumar, Indian consulate officials conducted an on-site inspection following an invitation from the temple administrators affected by the attacks. The officials had earlier advised local police to take appropriate security measures to ensure the safety of Hindu communities. However, the police reportedly did not implement sufficient protections, which ultimately allowed the Khalistan supporters to carry out these attacks without restraint.
Alok Kumar stressed that the lack of adequate security arrangements emboldened the attackers and contributed to escalating threats against the Hindu community in Canada.
