Not only in cinema but also in real life, Vijay, the leader of Tamil Nadu Vetri Kalagam, has accepted MGR as his spiritual guru. Let’s take a closer look at Vijay’s adherence to MGR, from the policy song to the party’s bylaws.

Starting from acting as an ardent fan of MGR in the film Vaseekara, Vijay, the leader of Tamil Nadu Vetri Kalagam, has been holding on to MGR without giving up on him at all places, from the flag song of Tamil Nadu Vetri Kalagam to the policy announcement conference.

Vijay has never hesitated to point out MGR’s glory and qualities in many of his films and even at the occasional music release event. Be it cinema or politics, Vijay has been acting as if he follows MGR as his guide.

Vijay, who announced his complete retirement from the film industry with the film he agreed to after starting the political party Tamil Nadu Vetri Kalagam, has his last film titled Jananayakan.

It is also said that the film may have been named Jananayakan based on the late Chief Minister MGR, who was a hero to crores of people.

To strengthen that talk, the first look of the film, which was recently released, featured a photo of Vijay swinging a whip like MGR along with the lines “If I order”, which created excitement among the party workers and administrators.

The constitution of the party he started, which is once again confirmed by Vijay, the leader of the Tamil Nadu Victory Society, accepts MGR as his spiritual guru. It is stated in those constitutions that the party’s basic members will collectively elect the party leader.

MGR was the one who started the political party for the wishes of the workers and kept the party in power as long as he was alive. From the beginning of the political party until his death, MGR, who had immense love for the workers, has guided the AIADMK to this day.

Even though many years have passed since MGR passed away, his memories are still alive in the minds of the people.

The main opposition party in Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK, is gradually losing its vote bank by operating in four factions: Edappadi Palaniswami, O. Panneerselvam, Sasikala, and TTV Dinakaran. The party members are deeply dissatisfied with the fact that the AIADMK led by Edappadi Palaniswami has been facing defeat in ten consecutive elections.

Political commentators have shared their views that Thaveka leader Vijay is using this tactic to take advantage of this time and get the votes of MGR’s supporters, fans, and sympathizers.

The upcoming assembly elections and the people will decide whether Vijay’s plan to start a new political party in the Tamil Nadu political arena and try to seize power through MGR will succeed.
