“Why Can’t a Caste Census Be Conducted in Tamil Nadu?” – Seeman Questions
Naam Tamilar Katchi’s (NTK) Chief Coordinator, Seeman, has questioned why a caste-based census cannot be conducted in Tamil Nadu when it has already been carried out in Bihar and Telangana.
Speaking to reporters at Madurai Airport, he criticized the government, stating, “If the caste census is something only the central government can conduct, then why talk about state rights?”
He further questioned, “If the government has the authority to provide reservations, doesn’t it also have the authority to conduct a caste census? When elections approach, they change their stance and disguise themselves in new ways to mislead people!” Seeman accused political parties of using diversion tactics instead of addressing fundamental issues.
