Why Did DMK Hold a Meeting Despite the Centre’s Clarification on Delimitation? – TTV Dhinakaran Questions
AMMK General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran has questioned why the DMK conducted a political meeting despite the central government’s clarification that delimitation will be carried out based on proportional representation.
Speaking to reporters in Ramavaram, Chennai, Dhinakaran criticized the DMK government, stating that law and order in the state has deteriorated under its rule. He accused the party of spreading false propaganda regarding the delimitation issue and misleading the public with unnecessary meetings.
He further stated that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had already provided a clear explanation regarding the delimitation process. Given this, why is the DMK continuing to hold political rallies to create confusion among the people? he asked.
Additionally, Dhinakaran pointed out the corruption surrounding TASMAC liquor shops in Tamil Nadu and asserted that this issue would play a significant role in the downfall of the DMK government in the 2026 assembly elections.
