Central Health Minister J.P.Natta emphasized that women should be empowered to take decisions regarding family planning.
World Population Day is observed on 11th July every year. On this occasion, in a program held in Delhi, the Central Health Minister J.P.Natta,
Central Minister Anupriya Patel and others participated. Speaking at that time, Central Minister J.P.Natta requested that women should be empowered to take decisions regarding family planning and that women should not be affected by unwanted pregnancy.
He said that the central and state governments should work together for this purpose and emphasized that measures should be taken to reduce the fertility rate.
